David Crane was born in Decatur, Alabama, and earned a degree in Telecommunication and Film from the University of Alabama in 1994. David moved back to Birmingham in 2007 when he was named the radio play-by-play voice of UAB Athletics. He obtained his real estate license and joined the Fred Smith Group at RealtySouth in 2019. David is an active member at Hoover Country Club, and when he’s not calling football, basketball or baseball games for the Blazers, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with friends and family.
